A number, and a line about today
On a phone your number is first and dials in one tap. Beside it, one line about response: same day, within two hours, whatever is true. The person ringing has water on the floor and wants one fact.
Drainage
A blocked toilet with guests due in an hour. A manhole lifting in the drive after a week of rain. Nobody plans to need a drainage engineer, and nobody compares them. They ring whoever is on the screen and says they can come today.
The moment of search
Drainage is the trade nobody has a number for. There is no drainage engineer in the phone from last time, because there was no last time. The search happens with the water rising and the guests on the way, and it ends with the first business that looks real and answers.
The exception is the survey. A buyer with a report that mentions drains, or a homeowner with a smell they cannot place, is searching with a day to spare and wants to see that you have a camera and know how to use it. Same site, different door.
Three searches. Two are typed standing up, and the third is a homebuyer with a report in the other hand.
What we build
Same build as every plan, pointed at a trade where the job is an emergency, the customer has never heard of you, and the thing they are most afraid of is the bill.
On a phone your number is first and dials in one tap. Beside it, one line about response: same day, within two hours, whatever is true. The person ringing has water on the floor and wants one fact.
Your call-out and your hourly rate in figures, and, because it is the fear specific to your trade, what happens if you find no fault. A customer who has read that rings knowing the worst case.
What a CCTV survey is, what it finds, what the report looks like and what it costs. Home buyers and insurers ask for it by name, and the page that explains it is the page they forward.
Under a second on a patchy signal. Somebody standing in a flooded utility room does not wait for a hero image, and the second name on the list gets rung while the first is still loading.
What matters in your trade
Your customer has heard the story about the blocked drain that became an excavation. Your credentials say you are a real contractor; your pricing says what happens if nothing is found; your survey says the ground gets looked at before it gets dug. All three are yours. What we do is set them where the decision is made, as text a person and a search engine can both read.
Written as text, never as a logo strip. An insurer’s approval as a badge cannot be checked; as text with the scheme named, it can.
What they are actually worried about
The repeat work
Drainage has two honest repeat shapes. The drain that blocked will block again unless it is jetted, and the properties changing hands in your town each need a survey somebody has to do. Neither renews on its own. The site and the reminders exist so the jetting is booked before the flood and the survey is found by the buyer’s solicitor.
The drain you cleared in autumn silts again by the next. A reminder before the leaves and the heavy rain, and a page that sets what an annual jet costs against what a Christmas call-out does, turns an emergency into a diary entry.
Surveyors recommend them and buyers search for them by name. A page that explains the CCTV survey, shows a sample report and states the price is the page a nervous buyer forwards to the solicitor, and it is planned work in an emergency trade.
The camera finds the cracked pipe, and you are the one holding the footage. A page on relining and repair in plain figures means the quote lands on somebody who has watched why it is needed.
None of this is a promise about how much work arrives. It is a shape: the jet that comes round on a date and the survey that comes with every sale, set up so the date sits in a system rather than in your head. What comes of it is still won on the tools.
Season note
Drainage has a season and a folklore. The season is autumn: leaves come down, the rain comes with them, and drains that coped all summer stop coping in October. The folklore is Christmas week, when every drainage engineer in the country has the same story about a full house and a blocked toilet on the twenty-fifth, and the searches bear it out.
Both are surges, and surges go to whoever is on the screen and answering. The site is built in the quiet so that it is already found when the leaves come down.
Builds start on Mondays. Kick-off is the first Monday after your details are in and your first payment has cleared, both by 5pm on the Thursday to hold that Monday, and your first preview lands within 7 days of it or you do not pay for it.

Straight answers
Yes, and it should, because it is the fear specific to your trade. Whether a clear drain costs the call-out, a reduced fee or nothing, the page states it in figures. A customer who knows the worst case before ringing is not surprised by it after.
Yes, as text, with the scheme or insurer named, where the decision is being made and in the footer, and in the structured data search engines read. An approval saved as a badge image cannot be checked; one written out can.
If you are not on an approved list, the page says what you do hold, and it never shows a mark you are not entitled to.
Click-to-call comes first on a phone. Your number sits above everything else on the screen and dials in one tap, with your line about response beside it, and no form stands between a flooded floor and your phone ringing.
If you do not take calls after a certain hour, the page says so and says when you start. An honest line about your hours is worth more than a ring nobody picks up.
Nobody honest will promise you a position. What we can promise is the work that goes in: a fast page for blocked drains in each town you cover, a separate one for the CCTV survey, which is its own search with its own customer, your business details matching everywhere Google cross-checks them, your Google profile worked month to month, and reviews still arriving.
Then we check where you sit and send you a page every month that shows it. You watch it move rather than take our word for it.
One WhatsApp with a couple of photos, and in your trade the honest ones are best: a manhole opened and cleared, the camera going in, a relined pipe. Nobody expects a drainage photo to be pretty.
Miss a month and nothing stops. We post from a bank of content built for drainage work, so your profile stays current whether or not you had ten minutes that week.
